July

This next month is going to be full of big things for us. Rhys turns one. Rhys will be going to his first of many Calgary Folk Music Festivals. Rhys will start daycare. My maternity leave will end, and I'll be returning to work full time. July is kind of a big deal around here.

Because there is so much to document this month, my resolution will be, once again, to blog every day. That's always a daunting task to commit to, but I need to this month. I can't let this month fly by without notice.

Today, Canada Day, is Warren & I's 4th Wedding Anniversary. We don't buy each other gifts or cards, instead we simply committed to taking the same picture every year. And this year is the one I've been dreaming of for a long time...

Rob & Tiffany (now Rhys' Godparents) took the photo, as usual, and then we all went to mission again for coffees. This year, THEY are the ones expecting a baby. We are in the middle of such an exciting time in all of our lives. So much change, adventure, growth and happiness. I never want it to end.

For the remainder of today: Warren is working a bit, Gramma Patsy is coming over, we'll head to the mall to pic up some photos, and maybe tonight we'll take Rhys out in the jogging stroller, if the weather holds out. The sky is looking grey...
