Recently, Warren & I (but mostly 'I') have gotten the itch to move. Not 100% why. Maybe we're slowly realizing that this house probably isn't our forever home. Maybe we've seen others move and it looks fun. Maybe we're simply the type of people who like change. Maybe the house is really messy, so wouldn't it be nice to just start new? For now, I'm going to pretend the latter is the reason for this itch, and try to do something about it.
So my resolution for the month of March is to do as much Spring cleaning/de-cluttering as possible around here. I'm not sure how I expect to accomplish this, since I have enough trouble keeping up with daily chores and baby care that adding more chores to the list seems silly. HOWEVER, the first 2 months of my 'resolution a month resolution' have proven successful, so maybe I'm on to something.
Here's a list of areas I would like to tackle (some are big jobs, some are smaller):
- Kitchen cupboards (specifically the pots & pans, Tupperware & serving dishes).
- Living room hutch
- Rhys' closet & bookcase
- Master bedroom closets & clothes
- Downstairs pantry-cupboard-thingy
- Freezer room
- Pub shelves/cupboards
- Downstairs spare room & bathroom (which have slowly become junk storage rooms...have you seen 'Hoarders'? Ya....).
So, this month, expect a lot of before & after photos and trips to the donation drop-off.
Today I think I'll start with Rhys' room...baby steps, literally.

Another good resolution. Every time I watch Hoarders I feel like I need to clean out a closet. It's frightening! Even if you get half of that list done, you should consider it a success!
Ooh, that's a good resolution. And I say if you don't get it all done this month, then you move. Problem solved. :) (Oh, and my vote is for the northwest...just sayin')
