Today I conquered a big milestone. One that frightened me, but that I knew I wanted to try sooner than later so that I could see it wasn't as big of a deal as I was making it out to be.
I ate out at a restaurant. And nursed Rhys at the table. It wasn't McDonald's, either, or Denny's for that matter. It was East Side Mario's!
Small potatoes to the veteran parents out there, but BIG potatoes to me!

Its a very big deal! Good for you for challenging yourself. And treating yourself to a nice meal out. Now that you know how easy it is (and now when it is still easy) you can eat out all the time!

I remember our first "outing" on day 3 of being home was the drive thru at Wendy's ... we didn't want to push our luck and midway through the drive thru Palmer pitched a feeding fit and of course we couldn't pull him our mid drive so we ordered through the wailing and waited through the wailing and finally parked in a spot and took care of it, but boy was it clumsy. Oy. Those were the days :)
