Kay, I wanted my first entry after baby to be super cool & creative, full of pics and stories. Although I hope to do that very soon, I didn't want to leave everyone hanging, wondering where we're at. So, this is short & sweet - for now. I can't wait to share details.
Anyone not on our facebook who doesn't know Wellington's 'real' name, here it is:
Rhys Kenneth Daniel Cronin. (again - wanted that announcement to be a bit more dramatic, but alas...)
We're home - and so far, we're liking it WAY better than the hospital. Gave birth at 4:45am on Tuesday, and arrived home around 2:30pm on Wednesday. Have had a house full of vistors since then, and right now Warren has Rhys and I'm doing this. We're wondering how our first night alone, without nurses, will be.
I should go - we have some things to pick up at the store - but I promise to post a better update as soon I can.
Love you all! Thank-you for following along this journey with us! It has made it so incredible for us.

Good luck on Night One at home!
CONGRATS! Love the name. Love that you managed to post so soon after - another reason you are every blogging mom's hero. Can't wait to hear all about the adventures to come!
*awkward moment of my day: my word verification is "tramp".
Not to worry about tonight, or the next night, or the next one....
Everything will be ok.
Those noises that he makes during the night which have you checking every five minutes to make sure he's breathing correctly.....that's ok
The countless feedings and wondering if he's getting enough and when he spits up a little you wonder again if you should feed him more or if he got enough that last time.....it's ok.
Diaper changes in the middle of the night when you're half awake and under soft lights and unsure if you "got it all", and did you remember the vaseline, and are the wipes the right kind and is the diaper tight enough, loose enough, chaffing?????.....it's ok.
Everything will be fine because this child is VERY fortunate to have two parents who are so excited about him and in love with him. What more could a child want?
Welcome home!!! Yes, these first few nights will be challenging. You may be overly excited to see daylight each morning. But with each passing day things will improve and you will feel more and more like Mommy and Daddy.
Rhys is a lucky boy! And you two are blessed. What a wonderful family you have created!
(I will also be blog stalking. Actually, I already have been.)
