Yesterday Rhys spent his first hour at a daycare. The gym daycare, to be exact. He didn't even notice me leave because he was being showered with attention by all the older kids. He was the only one left when I came to claim him:
Can't tell if he's even happy to see me! The caregiver had 2 things to say about him...that he was very cute, and that he is a really good eater. 2 things I already knew!

He looks so lonely in this shot! Cute, but lonely. Glad it went well -- trial runs are probably good for both you and him!
When I came to get him, she was holding him & rocking him. It was cute. I snapped this when I put him down to pack his stuff up...because Keri's comment made me realize people might think he was left all alone on the floor while I was gone!
Good for both of you. I think Rhys is going to like daycare, spending time with all those kids. He is social, like you!
Good for both of you! I hope you were able to focus for a few minutes without worrying about him. It's tough the first few times but as everyone is saying, it's good to have these trial runs. Glad it went well.
