So, I'm watching Miss America Live (live is misleading, because I was actually watching it taped on my PVR - loved it this year btw - except for the terrible host) and it gets to the end.
4 gorgeous ladies remain on stage. Mark Steiness says 'And the winner...your Miss America 2008...IS..." Then the **DELETE RECORDING** pops up on my screen! Are you KIDDING ME??
After all the time invested (okay, not that much time...I fast forwarded through most of the TALENT section), I had to watch the last 2 minutes on You Tube, all pixilated and crappy looking.
Boo!

It also keeps cutting off at the end of "How to look good naked" episodes (which I highly recommend). Is it wrong to get self esteem from a TV show?
I know you can go into the settings and tell it to start recording a few minutes early, and stop a few minutes late. The key is to remember to do that :-)
And no, I don't think it's wrong at all! I get inspired by the Biggest Loser, Get fashion advice from What not to wear, parenting advice (I know, I'm not a parent) from SuperNanny. That's what those shows are for! This is a modern world, and TV is part of. Better to improve your self esteem from tv, rather than the opposite (I felt AWFUL about my body after watching the Janice Dickinson Modeling show once...)
tiVo will just automatically ask you when it's a live program.
(just sayin'.)
