This is Rhys, shortly after Christmas, playing with his Aunt Kayley's new fancy karaoke machine with it's fancy 'echo' feature on the mic. Then Grampa tries to teach him to play guitar.
The guitar part is a perfect example of Rhys' deadpan/serious mood, where you're not sure he's even enjoying himself.
At the 1:24 mark he does his standard 'spontaneous raised arms' thing, as soon as he notices me taping him.

HA! This is AWESOME. He's totally a little rockstar in training. (Coincidentally, did you see my blog tonite?? I think our boys should start a band...however, there might be some fighting over who gets to sing lead vocals...)
That is great video to have. One day, when he is a famous musician, you will have the video for Biography. Seriously, how weird is it that you two posted musical stuff on the same day?
Him strumming away is so cute. And you see his right hand strumming though it's not on the guitar--fabulous!
I meant left hand. : D
I love that he was tuning the guitar!! That's awesome. What do the raised hands mean exactly? Is it like, "Oh! You caught me!" ??
T - I have no idea why he does the raised hands thing - but I like your theory - caught red handed!
