I've never been huge into Halloween, but I gotta say, having a kid sure bumps it up a notch in my books. Our Halloween was a jam packed day this year, and I blame that on two things. First, the pure cuteness that is a one year old. And second, the fact that Halloween was on a Sunday. We had all day to burn with Halloween activities, not just the hour or two after dinner that we'd have on a week night.
First, we had a party in the morning with our 'Baby Class' baby group. Then a short nap. Then pumpkin decorating and a haunted house at the community centre, followed by trick or treating at Chinook Centre. The rest of the night was spent driving around to 'trick or treat' at all our families' houses - visiting Rhys's grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. Rhys had so much fun. And since my fun these days is directly related to his fun...that means I had tons of fun too.
My November resolution is stolen right from the 'Happiness Project'...in bed by 9:30pm every night. Except tonight ;-P We're watching AMCs new drama 'The Walking Dead'. Zombies, bay-bay!

The video is pretty sweet! I can't believe how his mobility has improved (keeping in mind I don't see him all that often).
He was pretty impressive on the slide. And I love that ending pic of him at the piano.
If he becomes a concert pianist or a rock star, you've got your David Letterman clips right there!
what a sweeet vid!
Uhhhh...what??? Bed by 9:30p???? Is that even possible? I look forward to hearing about whether you are able to keep it up...and how good you feel if you do!!
PS - your kid is the cutest tiger I ever did see. I miss him.
The video is awesome! Looks like a great Halloween. Now, all you have to do is top that next year! lol
I have contemplated that resolution myself but it conflicts with other resolutions, like reading more, making sure my kids get more sleep, etc. I bet you will feel great after a week or two of getting more sleep!
That video is awesome! What a perfect song you found, and he looks so adorable!!!! What a great post.
